.....Our love for the Labrador Retriever is rooted in Chuck's passion for waterfowl hunting.
The joy of a great day in the duck blind is not just being able to 'bring in the ducks',
but having that special companion with you that shares your passion.

Our goal at Hiltonhall is to produce Labradors of sound health, correct structure, proper
temperament, natural hunting instincts and a desire to please. We believe these are the
ingredients of making that special companion - whether it be for the duck blind,
the show ring, a performance event or the sofa.

All of our breeding stock is screened for hip and elbow dysplasia by the OFA or Wind-Morgan GDC
of the University of Calif./Davis or Pennhip. All of our breeding stock is OFA rated Excellent or
have their Wind-Morgan clearances. We screen eyes on an annual basis by a
ACVO Ophthalmologist and hearts are screen by a ACVIM Cardiologist.

Our whelping/puppy room is in the center of our home, so that the puppies become well
socialized and very accustomed to the every day noises of a busy household.
AND, so they are very handy for picking up and cuddling!
We have a limited number of litters and our puppies are often reserved long before the litter is born.
Often our puppies are going to families that already have a Hiltonhall family member. We screen
perspective puppy buyers closely because we feel they are becoming part of our extended family
when they take on the responsibility of one of our babes.

We have been blessed to know and be friends of some of the most respected Labrador breeders
in the United States.  It was due to their unselfish generosity that we were able to have
some of the finest of Labradors as our foundation. First, we must thank and acknowledge
Cheryl and Carl Collins of Chelons Labradors
for sharing with us one of the finest specimens of the Labrador breed
- Am./Int. Ch. Chelons Wind Dancer JH - as seen on our opening page. Dancer became our
foundation brood bitch and produced many champions both in the U.S. and Canada.
Her name truly described her movement for she Danced on the Wind.
It is a joy to see that fluid movement in her offspring.
For our foundation Stud Dog, we went to John Doherty of Davoeg for a son of
Am Ch Davoeg Silky Beau ,who became
Can. Ch. Davoeg Hiltonhall Sammy Beau NAHRA SD, SH.
Sammy had so many of his famous father's attributes and we are so thankful we have his son
Am./Can. Hiltonhall Sammys Keepsake JH  * Keeper *
......to carry on those true Labrador qualities.
